bio:
Mary Kate Carr is a writer and pop culture junkie from Philadelphia, PA. Her biggest dream is to work in television, because in the words of Kenneth Parcell, "There are only two things I love in this world: everybody and television."
Mary Kate graduated cum laude from Emerson College with a BA in Visual & Media Arts: Writing for Film & TV and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. At Emerson, she took courses in screenwriting, television production, and media criticism.
Mary Kate’s byline appears on EW, ScreenRant, and Collider. Her previous experience also includes internships with Entertainment Weekly and NBC Universal Cable Productions. She hopes to build a career working with people who love watching, creating, and talking about media as much as she does.
Mary Kate's favorite things are sitcoms, romance novels, and pizza.
